Rogue Candy

Via via I caught wind of the blog Fashion Gone Rogue and have been obsessing over it all week.  The archives of fashion editorials, ad campaigns, and magazine covers are pure unadulterated junk food for my eyeballs.  For me, it's as much fun to explore the beauty of different models and the art of the clothes they wear as it is to ponder the framework itself of fashion photography and photo editing.  Here are some of the images I was most hypnotized by since my discovery:

I love the utopias that fashion photos and spreads are able to create for themselves.  And Mariacarla Boscono had never really made it onto my radar until this week: what a face! It's as if Italian aliens created the perfect female android to take over the planet. The bottom picture really captures her slightly sinister, ethereal beauty (dig that manicure!).

Tried these babes on yesterday.  The combination of a delicate nude with a strong silhouette drew me to them.  The soft lines of the wrap-around upper, heaviness of the wood platform, and the leg-lengthening color make your legs look so long and shapely.  Plus, I love the understated kitsch of an updated, neutral clog.  Mmn mmn, good!

Queens
